The consumer should have access to programs and information that help him/her make better marketplace decisions. How to enforce the right to be an educated consumer Expect clear communication when being involved on business dealing. Your right to be informed is in effect whenever you have to sign a legal contract. The company is obligated to make all pertinent information visible to you and not hide it behind incomprehensible terms and phrases.
