Buying behavior is the decision process and act of people involved in buying and using products. Consumer buying behavior refers to the buying behavior of the ultimate consumer. It involves the process by which the individual consumer:

  • Search for goods and services

  • Select them

  • Purchase them

  • And use them to satisfy their needs and desires.

      • Give an example of each type of purchase.
      • Go to the Internet and research the type of purchase, cite the web page.
      • Go to Youngstown Vindicator and find examples of ads for each type of purchase
      • How can you use your money for consumer purchase to promote economic justice? What about going to Fair Trade items.
      • Why would you want to use your consumer power to promote economic justice?
      • How would you want to know where/how the product was made before you purchase it?
