Volunteers will be divided in three groups. Each group will be having a leader who will be responsible in the organization and distribution of the tasks to specific individuals. The group leaders will be directly accountable to the children home director. The director will oversee that the job has been done to the standard that are required by the department of Health and Human Services.
The group members are to do through research on their specific topic before staring on the task. Internet will be available to all the members for research purposes. The groups will perform the following tasks.
- Furniture Selection: This group will be involved in selecting all the furniture that is to be used in the facility. Factor such as age, gender and safety should be considered before selecting the furniture. Click here.
- Decorations: The group will be involved in decorating the rooms using fabrics and color application. They should consider gender, age and the use of the room. Click here
- Healthy and safety precautions: The group should ensure that the facility meet all the healthy and safety precautions for children’s use.Click here
